However, when strange things start to happen, contestants begin to drop out. It’s clear that someone is trying to fix the outcome of the pageant—or worse, destroy it. As the numerous pranks escalate, Julie has to keep her eyes and ears open as she tries to figure out who is behind this and why. With the help of the extremely ambitious contestant, Lily, and her next-door neighbor, Mason, Julie begins to uncover secrets that have origins and consequences beyond the pageant spotlights.
